Romsey Christmas Light Switch On

Romsey

With the Romsey Christmas Light Switch On event fast approaching, it’s definitely starting to feel ‘a lot like Christmas’…

With just days to go until the Romsey Christmas Light Switch On, our team are counting down to see our little town a light with festivity. If you are planning trip to Romsey town centre and you’re looking for things to do to make a night of it, here is our 101 guide to the event.

What you need to know:

Saturday, 25th November 2017 from 6:15pm

The Event:

Brought to you by Romsey Town Council and Romsey Chamber of Commerce, the event will start with the Winter Parade through the town, followed by the Romsey Christmas Light Switch-On, shortly after.

The route:

The Winter Parade starts in the Crosfield Hall car park. It’s great fun for the kids, so wrap up warm and head on down with the family! Enjoy the antics of the Christmas carnival through the streets of Romsey town centre, featuring an appearance of Santa and his elves…

Follow it from Broadwater Road, Palmerston Street, The Hundred (that’s where you’ll find us waving out of our little green door!), Market Place and Bell Street, before finishing back in the Crosfield Hall car park.

If you’re local:

Don’t forget, the car park will be closed (from 4pm until 8pm) and road closures will begin from 5:30pm.

FREE admission!

Admission is free and there is no need for a ticket, so whether you are local, or traveling in from another area, this is a great event for couples, friends and families young and old. As far as things to do in Romsey, we think this is one of the events of the year!
