Meet Our Manager: Chris Burge, Koh Ringwood
Meet Chris. He joined us back in 2012 as a bartender in our Flagship, Koh Thai Tapas Bournemouth, before taking a break from us for a couple of years to live it up in Spain – Viva España! Now he’s back as our General Manager in Ringwood.
Chris Burge was one of our best behind the bar in Bournemouth. It wasn’t long before we relocated his talents to Portsmouth, where we were opening Koh Southsea. There, as a manager, he was left to train our bartenders to a similar level of expertise, imparting his creative flair and beverage wisdom to our eager-eyed and shiny-new team of bartenders.
Since then, Chris has definitely got around (so to speak), taking time out now and then to explore new life experiences. This included running a Restaurant & Sports Bar for two seasons in Marbella.
Upon his return, avid Koh followers will have found him in Koh Noi Christchurch, Boscombe, Bath, Lilliput and Salisbury, before returning to us full-time as the Assistant Manager of Koh Ringwood.
Today, Chris continues to build on his amazing story with Koh. He is now our all-powerful General Manager for the lively restaurant that opened in 2015.

We agree. He’s doing a sterling job holding the fort in Ringwood. He has fully immersed himself within the local community and they all love him just as much as we do!
We are expecting big things from Chris in the future and we’re all very proud to have him as a part of the Koh Family.
