A visit from the Thai Ambassador to the UK @ Koh Lounge
Last night Koh Lounge was EXTREMELY PROUD to host His Excellency, Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Thai Ambassador to the UK in a celebration of a new strategic Thai collaboration between The Koh Group, the Bournemouth University Department of Tourism and Hospitality and Dusit Thani College.
The evening saw a showcase of the best of Thailand, with native Thai dancers and new Thai specials, perfectly complimented by the King’s beer – Singha and cooked by our incredible Koh Thai chefs as well as chefs from Dusit Thani College in Bangkok, – all in awe of the visit of the Thai Ambassador and his kind words of support for Koh and the collaboration.
This followed on from Koh CEO and Founder Andy Lennox’s keynote speech to the Bournemouth University Tourism and hospitality Conference about the trends in hospitality and restaurant management.
The three companies look forward to building on this collaboration in the future with with BU, DT and Koh all discussing ideas, trends and further partnerships with each other on blending British and Thai culture, Hospitality and Restaurant management, Kitchen Collaboration and Hospitality innovation. Koh and BU will be taking part in the Dusit Thani College for the Gracious Tourism and Hospitality conference in Thailand that is being developed with Bournemouth University in Late November to further strengthen the collaboration.
‘”As one of the leading Thai Restaurant Groups in the country and one of the Top 10 Hospitality employers in the UK. Working with the highly respected Dusit Thani and BU Tourism and Hospitality Department is a natural progression as we look to be the leader in our field, as a restaurant group, as an employer and as a responsible and innovative company. To have the Ambassador there to show his support and approval Was a truly humbling and magical experience”. Andy Lennox.
